With over 930 lakes you will not run out of places to explore or hunt down your giant musky. Locally known for the best place to spot a “ghost” or albino deer I can personally attest to that. For all the years I have been coming up north and living here it is the only town I have seen one in. It is an experience you won’t soon forget. They are absolutely stunning!
The heart of Boulder Junction has to be its main street which will take you back to simpler times. A perfect rainy day activity is spending an afternoon perusing the shops and stopping for something to eat or drink. There are plenty of great places to pick from. Boulder Junction is a town that strives to always have something fun and interesting to do with their many town activities throughout the year. From the flea market every Tuesday during the summer to Musky days in August which is a main street festival. Winter is not left out with Frozen Tozen ice fishing tournament and the Christmas walk.
Boulder Junction has over 50 miles of paved bike trails so you can wind your way through the woods all day or grab your golf clubs and head over to the Trout Lake golf club just up the road in Arbor Vitae.
