Head out to one of our many nature trails which include the Catherine Wolter Wilderness area. A 189 acre nature preserve also groomed in the winter for cross country skiing. The Van Vilet Hemlocks State Natural Area is truly a gem of Presque Isle you will not want to miss.
Round out your days by coming back to your cabin and sitting at the end of your dock with your favorite drink, maybe an old fashioned after all your in Wisconsin now! Sunsets are spectacular here and if you stay up long enough you will see a night sky clearer than most. With few streetlights and homes spaced apart star gazing here is excellent. If you are lucky you will catch the aurora borealis at play.
